Sung Jun (Peter) Lee, REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST
Sung Jun (Peter) Lee
Sung Jun (Peter) Lee is a graduate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Program at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. He is registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
Peter was born and raised in Korea, where the traditional eastern medicine is widely accepted and respected. Ever since he was old enough to think about what he wanted to be when he grows up, he has always wanted to be a healer; a healer who listens to those who are hurt and sick, and a healer who can heal both mental and physical aspects of a person holistically. As a major component of traditional eastern medicine, acupuncture can do just that.
To follow the path of the natural healers, Peter studied biological sciences and then MacEwan University’s Acupuncture program, which serves as the benchmark for registration in Alberta and the one of the very few public, post-secondary program of this kind in Canada. In the process, he learned about the connection between mind and body, that many illnesses come from the mind, and that one must heal the mind in order to heal the body.
Now as a registered acupuncturist, he has over 5 years of clinical experience in treating various conditions ranging from musculoskeletal conditions to psycho-emotional conditions, to digestive, hormonal and fertility issues. He strives to bring back smiles to patients by relieving their pain and alleviating their psycho-emotional conditions such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia, which often are the causes and/or result of the bodily pains, and for which modern medicine has very limited options.
Outside the clinic, Peter enjoys swimming, cooking, and video-gaming.
